BRAISED DUCK

* 1 duck (4-5 pounds) cut into serving pieces
* flour
* 2 T. vegetable oil
* 2 C. water
* 1 1/2 C. dry white wine or dry vermouth
* 1 bay leaf
* 2 small onions, peeled and sliced
* 1 1/2 t. Hi Mountain Original Burger Seasoning
* 3 peppercorns, crushed
* 3 T. fresh chopped parsley
* 1/2 t. rosemary, crushed


Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat duck pieces with flour. Heat oil in a frying pan and brown pieces on all sides. Remove duck to a casserole dish. Add all remaining ingredients. Cover and bake about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Serves 4.
