BELL PEPPERS
* 2 lbs. elk hamburger, browned
* 6 to 8 bell peppers
* 1 c. cooked rice
* 1 can tomato sauce
* 1 pound grated mozzarella cheese
* 1 chopped onion seasoned with 1/2 t. each of
* Hi Mountain Cajun Bacon Sprinkles
* Hi Mountain Elk Steak Seasoning
* Fresh ground pepper
* White Pepper
* Garlic Powder & fresh garlic
* Garlic Pepper
Cut tops off of peppers, clean and boil for about 5 minutes. Drain and
place in a baking dish. Add to your hamburger; 1 cup cooked rice, seasoned
onion, fresh chives, parsley and basil to taste. Mix together. Place
1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese in bottom of each bell pepper then add
1/2 cup of meat mixture. Repeat with cheese and meat. When the pepper
is full,
sprinkle with cheese. Pour tomato sauce over them and sprinkle parsley.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour in a covered baking dish.
