MESQUITE
MEATBALLS
* 1/2 t.
Western Sizzle Mesquite Burger Seasoning
* 1 large egg
* 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, buffalo or venison
* 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
Sauce:
* 1 t. Western Sizzle Mesquite Burger Seasoning
* 3 c. beef broth
* 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
* 1/4 c. catsup
Blend 1/2 t. Mesquite Burger Seasoning with egg and fork in a large
bowl. Add ground meat and breadcrumbs mix well. Roll tightly into 1"
meatballs. Arrange on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 F for
25 minutes, until cooked. While meatballs are cooking, prepare sauce.
In medium saucepan,
combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook until
slightly thickened and reduced by half. To serve, reheat cooked meatballs
in sauce and serve with toothpicks.
Makes about 35 meatballs. |
